Have you NOTICED?

Teal pumpkins and products are popping up EVERYWHERE!

Discount stores, dollar stores and even grocery stores! (for good reason I might add!)

So what’s the deal with teal?

The Teal Pumpkin Project, inspired by Food Allergy Community of East Tennessee (FACET), became one of FARE’s nationwide campaigns in 2014.  The project is a way to help create a safer and happier Halloween for kids with food allergies as well as other conditions by providing non-food treats and to raise food allergy awareness.

Participating homes may have teal pumpkins (the food allergy color) or signs to indicate to trick- or- treater that they have non-food goodies.
